GOP elites don’t get it

I am a Republican. But then we hear from the Republican elite, “We can still stop him (Trump) at a brokered convention.” Question. Who is “we”?

Mitt Romney and the Bushes won’t attend the convention if Trump is the nominee. House Speaker Paul Ryan has withheld an endorsement. But then, “who is electing Trump to get him there in the first place?” It’s the people of the United States. The “People” versus the “We.”

The Republican elite don’t get it. The people are fed up with business and politics as usual. I hope the Republican elite don’t attend. It’s time to throw all of the bums out of office.

George W. Bush was the worst president this country has had. Remember whose Cabinet members presided over all the agencies that created the financial meltdown. Ryan sunk Romney after the worst vice presidential debate in history.

Trump can be a jerk with his remarks. But it’s time for this country to address national security (better not get shot down if Hillary is president - Benghazi), immigration (the wall is the last resort, we are there) jobs and foreign trade. There’s no one better than Trump to level the playing field thus creating jobs and reducing deficits.
