On the Waterfront
On the Waterfront today, walking partner Greg Lee and I:
- Encountered Duane Hagadone emerge from Hagadone Corporation HQ, driving a black SUV with dogs barking in the back. He stopped his vehicle and waited for us to pass. I waved to him through the darkened window and he waved back. That’s the second time I’ve seen Duane this year. Greg and I encountered him with a company official in late winter, checking out the boardwalk.
- Heard some skaters back-talking workers on the boardwalk bridge because the workers had prevented them from riding on the wooden boardwalk. One worker advised a skater that he could tell his problems to the police if he didn’t like it.
- Were hit up for money by a homeless guy. I would have given the guy a couple of bucks. But I don’t walk with my wallet.
- Saw 2 teen girls with short-shorts so short that we questioned their parents’ common sense.
