Poll: Kahn, Milan may pull upsets

  • Tuesday Poll: Hucks Nation picked Kathy (Kraack) Kahn and Kristi Milan as the two North Idaho Democrats must likely to pull an upset in the general election this fall. With a whopping 1,578 votes cast (voters could vote more than once), Kathy (Kraack) Kahn was picked by Hucks Nation as most likely to pull an upset. 347 (21.99%) said she could beat Rep. Vito Barbieri. Close behind, 339 (21.48%) see a possible upset in Senate District 4, with Democrat Kristi Milan beating Sen. Mary Souza. Also, 292 (18.5%) see no Democrat winning in North Idaho this fall, and 287 (18.19%) pick Democrat Kate McAlister, of the Sandpoint Chamber of Commerce, to beat radical Rep. Heather Scott in SD 1. As for the rest of the field, 86 (5.45%) pick Richard Kohles to upset Rep. Eric Redman; 84 (5.32%) pick Stephen Howlett to beat Sage Dixon; 65 (4.12%) Pat Michell to beat Rep Luke Malek; 64 (4.06%) Tom Hearn to beat Paul Amador; 8 (0.51%) Steve Tanner to beat Sen Shawn Keough; and 6 (0.38%) Tina Kunishige to beat Sheriff Ben Wolfinger.
