Facebook Friend Jamie Sedlmayer snapped this photo from her vehicle at 4th St/Indiana Ave near downtown Coeur d'Alene this AM. A construction worker was hit by a vehicle, suffering a large gash to his leg & ankle.
  • 11:36 a.m. Non-injury Crash — 2-vehicle crash in Kootenai Health ER lot, CPD doesn’t respond to those.
  • 11:30 a.m. Traffic Stop — CPD officer follows gray Honda Civic into Chipotle lot/Appleway.
  • 11:15 a.m. Unconscious Person — E1st St/N Fir, Bayview.
  • 10:58 a.m. Vehicle Pursuit — Male driver who was fleeing traffic stop hits spike strip and then veers off into Rathdrum Prairie field, where he’s apprehended with use of canine dog. Stop made @ H41/Prairie Ave.
  • 10:57 a.m. Vehicle Pursuit — Officer is chasing male driver, possibly in pickup w/smashed fender, @ w/b Prairie Ave/Meyer Road. Run vehicle is going 70 mph. Officer is backing off. Unknown reason for pursuit.
  • 10:52 a.m. Custodial Dispute — Male is trying to take unwilling daughter from Post Falls residence.
  • 9:31 a.m. Unconscious Person — North Idaho Eye Clinic, 1814 Lincoln Way/CdA.
  • 9:28 a.m. Vehicle Violation — Deputy stops tan pickup w/o license plates @ 4th/Deerhaven, Dalton Gardens.

  • 9:10 a.m. Reckless Driver — Female driver texting, weaving @ H41/Spirit Lake.
  • 9:05 a.m. Noninjury Fall — Female needs help getting up @ Hollister Hills/Payment Peak, Hauser.
  • 8:45 a.m. Injury Accident — CPD is blocking off Indiana Street intersections @ 4th and 5th streets/CdA.
  • 8:34 a.m. Injury Accident — Vehicle hits construction worker @ 4th St/Indiana Ave. Worker has suffered large gash to ankle & leg. He’scurrently lying on the ground.
  • 8:25 a.m. Trespassing — Call made from Church Road/Rathdrum.
  • 8:24 a.m. Welfare Check — Male texts family member: “If they come in with anyone else, it will be my death sentence.”
  • 8:19 a.m. Fire Alarms — Big Lots & another Neider Ave businesses show fire alarms sounding. But no evidence of problems.
