What about Bush emails?

In response to Wayne Gebhardt’s letter (“Clinton deceptive,” Oct. 14): It is difficult for me to understand the complete dismissal of a candidate as qualified as Hillary Clinton, because of her email situation.

In contrast, where is the same uproar over the George W. Bush administration, whose White House and 95 percent of his chief advisers used a private email service set up by the Republican National Committee? They did not store their emails as required by law, and between 2003 and 2009, the White House lost 22 million emails. They also had periods of blackouts in the system when no emails were available, including from Vice President Dick Cheney’s office.

This was during a war, and a congressional subpoena, which was ignored. Nothing has been done, and no one punished.
