Tompkins has earned votes

I would like to promote Judge Linda Tompkins as the better candidate for Superior Court Position 10. Ward Andrews finds only one negative point of contention, saying Judge Tompkins had a number of change requests filed in her court over a year ago. No requests were granted; this was a meaningless jibe.

Judge Tompkins has served Spokane with fairness and in-depth knowledge since 1997. Andrews has been working for an insurance company (helping contest claim payments?) and says, if elected, he will “take the time to learn” the position. Who among us hasn’t enjoyed standing in line at a coffee shop waiting for the new guy to use our time to learn his job?

The Superior Court has Judge Tompkins, experienced, continuously working to reduce recidivism and thoughtfully meting out justice. Andrews been recently evaluated by the Bar Association but will not allow the findings to be released. Judge Tompkins has the endorsement of the majority of her peers, all of whom volunteered the recommendation.

Judge Linda Tompkins has earned our votes and deserves to be re-elected to the post she has proven to fill extremely well.
