Cis to protesters: Grow up

Cis/Simple Mind has been with Huckleberries Online from the beginning. She’s a fountain of common sense. Here’s her reaction to the goofs who are blocking traffic as part of a protest against the election of President-elect Donald Trump:

“So blocking traffic, burning the flag and other violent acts shows that you are disgusted with the nations choice.. too bad.. that is life.. you don’t get your way.. You are selfish people.. to block traffic for some poor soul who is trying to get home.. I remember in 1991.in Seattle, . when they blocked traffic for another displeasure of some.. blocked traffic.. for the mother who was trying to get home to her kids.. before the baby sitter left… the woman whose elderly … father was home waiting for her to get there to give him his shot.. see there wasn’t cell phones like they have now.. so no one to call to tell them that they will be late.. 4 flaming hours late.. the father was starting a siezure because he didn’t have the shot in time.. so go ahead SELFISH IDIOTS. tell us how you aren’t grown up enough to handle bad news… make others miserable, who have nothing to do with your protest.. do you care. there is babies in those cars crying because they are scared.. Oh, yea.. YOUR RIGHTS.. to protest. well go protest the real problem.. because right now YOU ARE THE PROBLEM … and just for the record.. no I did not vote for Trump..but I am not going to flip out about it.. it is called being a grown up.”
