Lock her up, really?

I usually don’t give vent to trollish ideas, but commenter Jane Bond posted something that needs addressing, the goofy notion out there that defeated Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton should be locked for crimes largely imagined. Jane Bond wrote:

” 70 more days and Obama is nothing more but a proven mistake in US history. I’m hoping he won’t pardon Hillary like FORD did to NIXON. C linton crimes are much worse. If there is justice, we will see Hillary in felon orange jump suit with a number on it by this time next year.”

Can you imagine the turmoil that the Trump administration would bring on itself — the guarantee of four years of more divisiveness than can be imagined — if it followed through with this crazy idea? Locking up the leader of the opposition party. Dictatorships do that. Trump would guarantee himself one term and a failed presidency if he tried something so un-American.
