Baumgartner out of bounds

Not enough to do in Olympia regarding education? Maybe Sen. Baumgartner should involve himself in “fixing” the K-12 funding mandate. So far lawmakers haven’t done a very good job of it. What if the blow to Jackson Raney’s head had resulted in a loss of sight or perhaps the loss of his life? What then, Sen. Baumgartner?

Plain and simple, Robert Barber was wrong in his actions and now we’ll be subjected to the same old tired excuses. As reported in 2015, Barber made threats to an officer and was cited for misdemeanor harassment. He certainly is not an endearing individual.

Just a few months ago, the Review ran a spread on arrests of WSU football players. Not so good. As for supporters of Barber and their concern of him being drafted by the NFL, not to worry. Its landscape is littered with players who did similar or worse and drawing huge salaries. Boo Cougs and Go Eags!
