Keep pressure on, get involved in politics

The election is over and some of us are dismayed and some are happy. Whatever the case, we now have to keep active in politics. We just can’t go and vote every two years or four years; that’s what we’ve been doing and look what it got us, the most non-productive Congress in history.

So we have to keep the pressure on and get involved. That’s what democracy is all about. Remember that old Merle Haggard song? “When a president goes through the white doors/And does what he says he’ll do, we’ll all be drinkin’ that free Bubble Up/And eatin’ that rainbow stew.”
