Wild Card/Tuesday — 11.22.16

Sad to hear of the passing of another member of the Huckleberries Online community — Joan Harman. I knew Joan long before I started HucksOnline in 2004. She was a regular letter writer who gave me heck day after day for editorials and and Huckleberries print column. Sometimes, I would find 2-3 letters waiting from Joan waiting in my mailbox when arrived for work. The letters targeted something I’d written to start and then branched off into her thoughts about other letters and commentary. Later, she commented here and blogged under the name Arch Druid. You may have met her if you attended one of the Blogfests. I noticed that she missed the one earlier this year, the first time in awhile that she had done so. So we’ll toast Joan at the 2017 Blogfest. She’s the 2nd one that we’ve lost this year. Tom Wobker, The Bard of Sherman Avenue, died a short while after Blogfest 2016. Here’s your Tuesday Wild Card …
