Work to reshape immigration

In response to the Nov. 18 article, “Students, staff ask EWU to become sanctuary campus.” To those petitioners endeavoring to make Eastern Washington University a “sanctuary campus,” might I suggest rather than spending your time and energy formulating ways to break the law that you use that effort on ways to reshape the law. Isn’t that what democracy is all about?
