Shea editorial too kind

Your Sept. 25 editorial regarding Matt Shea was too kind. I reside in Stevens County, where the county commissioners proudly advocated for and held a benefit on behalf of the “domestic terrorists” who claim to have had a vision from God, which justified their open rebellion against the rest of us taxpayers.

Most of the welfare cowboys can’t really see just how used they have been — cannon fodder in the push to sell off public lands, eventually to the church for 20 cents an acre. My county is awash in Shea signs and election signs, promising to “bring government back home” - to Utah or Arizona. Big money has no trouble finding those who believe they have a right to steal what they can.

Every person who posed for photo-ops taking aim at federal officers enforcing the law should have been tried for first-degree assault. Nothing patriotic about those actions. Don’t soft peddle the truth. Treason is treason. Why are the voters in Shea’s district flying him back and forth in support of felons? Or driving his limo up to Stevens County to infect others with paranoia?
