NIC trustee candidate drops out
Geri Wile of Post Falls, a candidate for the North Idaho College Board of Trustees, has dropped out of her race with Trustee Brad Murray of Rathdrum. Wile dropped out for health reasons. But her name will still be on the November ballot because she didn’t drop out in time. Murray, a former Lakeland School District superintendent, was appointed by fellow trustees recently to fill the seat vacated by Ron Nilson. Nilson quit during the summer after Trustee Todd Banducci and he were rezoned into the same zone. The new zones were approved by the 2016 Legislature. Banducci will face Avista official Greg Gfeller in November. Judy Meyer is running unopposed for re-election.
