A 53-year-old Coeur d’Alene truck driver died while driving northbound on U.S. 95 north of Hayden on Wednesday morning.

Rock Anthony Gabbard was hauling 6,000 gallons of raw sewage for B&B Sani Services of Hayden and was en route to a dispensary area near Naples, said Idaho State Police Sgt. Chris Schenck, who spoke with a fellow company worker on scene.

“Witnesses say the truck and trailer went off the right shoulder of the road and flipped on the passenger side,” Schenck said. “The driver was pinned inside the truck and pronounced deceased at the scene.”

Gabbard was the lone occupant of the 1997 Kenworth semi. Schenck said the semi traveled down an embankment before tipping onto its right side, striking a fence and multiple trees/ Brian Walker , Press. More here.
