Victim in fatal Post Falls crash ID’d

The Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office has identified the driver killed in yesterday’s collision in Post Falls as David T. Parent, 32, of Post Falls. The driver injured in the collision has been identified as Timothy L. Stinson, 41, of Post Falls. The accident occurred at Prairie Avenue and Pleasant View Road Monday afternoon. Initial investigation and witness statements indicate Parent failed to yield from the stop sign on Prairie Avenue and drove into the path of Stinson’s vehicle. The Sheriff’s Traffic Team is asking for anyone that may have information regarding this collision to contact the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office/ Lt. Stu Miller , Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office.
