I have some questions for Cathy McMorris Rodgers. If she truly represents the people of Eastern Washington, why did she vote against The Lilly Ledbetter Act to require equal pay for women doing the same work as men? Why did she vote against the Violence Against Women Act, which passed and has greatly reduced domestic violence and held offenders more accountable?

Why did she vote to allow insurance companies to deny people coverage due to pre-existing conditions and to drop our policies or cancel our coverage if we get sick? She claims to be fighting for our Medicare, so why did she vote for cuts to Medicare and Medicaid? Why did she vote for cuts to SNAP (food stamps) which help feed the hungry and support farmers? Why should anyone in Eastern Washington vote for her?
