Few Idaho D’s outraise R foes

Just a handful of Democratic candidates are outraising their Republican opponents in legislative races, the AP reports, according to the first campaign finance reports since post-primary reports were filed in June. AP reporter Kimberlee Kruesi reports that Democratic challenger Steve Berch of Boise has substantially out-raised Rep. Lynn Luker, R-Boise; Democrat Bob Blakey has outraised former GOP Rep. Thyra Stevenson as the two vie for the seat she lost to Democratic Rep. Dan Rudolph two years ago; Democratic challenger Kathleen Eder has out-raised Rep. Steve Miller, R-Fairfield; and Rep. Sue Chew, D-Boise, has outraised GOP challenger Tabby Jolley, though Jolley received a $750 contribution from House Speaker Scott Bedke, R-Oakley/ Betsy Russell , Eye on Boise. More here .
