KCSO: Shoplift try > $2K in goods
Coeur d’Alene woman arrested after trying to shoplift more than two-thousand dollars of merchandise from the Hayden Walmart. At
about 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Kootenai County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the Hayden Walmart for a shoplifting suspect reported by store security. The deputies contacted a female in the parking lot who had walked out of the store pushing two cartloads of merchandise that she allegedly hadn’t paid for. Initially, the female gave a false identification to the deputies, but later the deputies were able to positively identify her as Jennifer L. Dossett, 43, of Coeur d’Alene.
The two carts Dossett was pushing contained 360 various items from the store, valued at nearly $2,300.
Dossett was arrested on charges of Burglary, Grand Theft and Giving False identification to a Peace Officer. Additionally, she had an outstanding theft warrant for her arrest stemming from a theft charge in September at the same Walmart store. Dossett is currently being held without bond pending first appearance this afternoon.
