Wild Card/Monday — 10.17.16

As I mentioned in the weekend Wild Card, HucksOnline topped 2 million page-views on Friday, for at least the 7th straight year. My records date back to 2009 when Huckleberries finished just under 2.1 million. At this point, it looks like another finish above 2.5 million for the year. Which is nice. I wish I had $20 for every time someone has pronounced blogging, in general, and this blog, in particular, dead. On Feb. 16, Huckleberries Online will be 13 years old. I’ll be a little older than that. It has been a long, strange ride. But I doubt there’s a better newspaper job in Idaho than the one I have. Here’s your Monday Wild Card …
