Couple stumbles upon, ♥’s CdA
Starting in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, Adam Schluter and Kaylee Goins spent more than eight months traveling by car to the Northwest. After camping at free campsites the entire way, the couple of three years loved Coeur d’Alene so much they decided to cut their journey short and settle in the Lake City. They are photographed here on Wednesday at City Beach. (Jake Parrish/Coeur d’Alene Press photo)
Whim decisions have proven fruitful for Adam Schluter.
The traveling photographer once shelved a long-awaited trip to Hungary days before departure to spend time with a young woman he’d just met.
Three years later, he and Kaylee Goins, an eclectic web developer, are still together. The St. Louis natives now call Coeur d’Alene home, three months removed from having never toed Idaho soil.
Their journey to the Panhandle came in the most literal sense/ Ryan Collingwood , Coeur d’Alene Press. More here.
Question: What do you love about this area?
