Wild Card/Thursday — 10.20.16

The three presidential debates are over — and we’ve survived. Sorta. I only saw the first 40 minutes of last night’s debate, the part where Republican Donald Trump appeared somewhat contained. I missed the part that he refused to say whether he’ll accept the election results, if he loses. I hope there are no state elections settled by hanging chads this year. Can you imagine a situation involving a Trump loss that the Supreme Court would have to decide? I doubt that we would have an orderly transition of power, albeit bitter, that occurred in the Bush-Gore election. But I digress. We’ve reached another milestone in this political campaign without end, amen. So I’m celebrating by posting your daily Wild Card — and grabbing a second cup of coffee …
