CMR fails courage test

As Eastern Washington voters decide whether to return Cathy McMorris Rodgers for a third term, I hope her unflagging endorsement of Donald Trump, despite his obscene and vulgar self-promotion of his sexual assaults on woman, will be foremost on voters’ minds.

McMorris Rodgers lacks the bravery and common decency to place country before party when faced with a party nominee who is seriously flawed and epically unqualified. When presented with a clear cut ethical and moral issue, McMorris Rodgers chose to be weak-willed and cowardly. She doesn’t deserve the privilege of representing the best interests of the district.
