Lawmaker’s son faces drug charges

The Elmore County Sheriff’s Office arrested Cord C. Palmer, 25, of Meridian, on Tuesday after finding 5.3 pounds of marijuana in his vehicle. Palmer is the son of Republican Rep. Joe Palmer and the brother of Meridian City Councilman Ty Palmer. Cord Palmer is currently on parole following a 2012 drug conviction, according to the Idaho Department of Correction/ Cynthia Sewell , Idaho Statesman. More here.
