End the fear campaigns
I don’t believe the party that nominated Donald Trump to be president should be trusted any longer with control of the House and Senate.
I think the best course for the Republican Party would be to disband and reform under a new banner after taking a hard look at the gnawing terror of ordinary life issues that drive them to an idealism that sometimes borders on the insane, as it has plainly done in this election cycle.
In my lifetime, empty Republican fear started with Communists and proceeded on to beatniks, hippies, the Vietnamese, movies, actors and directors, musicians, marijuana, blacks, Mexicans, gays, transgendered, every variation of bathrooms, and the three Middle Eastern religions (excepting Christianity, of course), and Jews when it suits, leaving only Islam to bear the brunt of religious hatred.
Many Republicans aren’t comfortable with any field of verifiable scientific discovery, yet they seldom show concern over the fascism that caused but plainly did not perish in World War II.
I’m just tired of it all. Republicans, do something positive and uplifting before my life is over, please.
