Poll: Kaepernick has rights, too
- Wednesday Poll: A plurality of Hucks Nation said it would back the right of S.F. 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick to sit during the national anthem to protest treatment of African-Americans in this country, if it ran the NFL team. 109 of 264 respondents (41.29%) took that position. However, 88 of 264 (33.33%) said they would release the controversial QB for his protest. And 28 (10.61%), said 49er ownership should demand a public apology. Also: 21 (7.95%) said ownership should ignore the controversy; 12 (4.55%) marked “other”; and 6 (2.27%) were undecided.
