Rattler bites Trib sportswriter

A 29-year-old Clarkston man is recovering after being bitten by a rattlesnake Sunday at Hells Gate State Park. Byron Edelman, a sportswriter for the Lewiston Tribune, said he was jogging at dusk on the trail south of the park’s boat launch when he felt a sting on his ankle and saw blood on his sock. Edelman said he did not see the snake as he jogged past some bushes along the trail and did not hear it rattle/ Lewiston Tribune . More here.
