KCSO seeks run car in bike crash

Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office investigators are asking for the public’s help regarding a hit-and-run collision that left a 28-year-old Coeur d’Alene mom seriously injured. Elycia M. Coleman was injured just before 6 p.m. Monday when a vehicle collided with her as she rode a bicycle in a crosswalk at Honeysuckle Avenue and Fourth Street. The vehicle was described by a witness, the woman’s 8-year-old daughter, as a blue passenger car driven by a male. The child told Kootenai County sheriff’s deputies the driver of the blue car looked at both the riders and then drove off westbound on Honeysuckle/ Coeur d’Alene Press . More here.
