Headline disappointing

While the article on the front page of the Aug. 21 newspaper may have been one that warranted in-depth reporting (“Suspect in grisly killing had avoided deportation”), I believe there were other stories that day better suited to the front page coverage it received.

I found the headline to be extremely offensive and inflammatory, considering the current political climate — one more aptly suited to the tabloids in the checkout lines at the grocery store. Disappointed in The Spokesman-Review.
