Missoula man charged w/bank robbery attempt

Coeur d’Alene PD press release:

On 08/31/2016, at approximately 11:45 a.m., Coeur d’Alene Police Officers responded to the report of an attempted bank robbery at the Bank of America, located at 501 W Appleway Ave in Coeur d’Alene. Alex Wesley Jenkins was identified as the suspect and had fled the scene prior to officer’s arrival. A warrant was issued for Jenkins’ arrest. Detectives continued to look for Jenkins but were unable to locate him. Jenkins was contacted in Missoula Montana on September 5, 2016 by Missoula PD. He was arrested without incident. Jenkins is currently in custody in the Kootenai County Jail.
