Edit: Tree huggers know Econ 101, too
In an editorial for the Moscow-Pullman Daily News, Devin Rokyta comments:
If California were a nation, it would have the sixth largest economy in the world - even though its government is dominated by liberal tree-huggers. It turns out that going green doesn’t equal a death sentence for the economy, despite what some would tell us. According to the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis, California’s GDP in 2015 was $2.5 trillion, up 4.1 percent from a year earlier. The U.S. economy as a whole grew 2.4 percent. More here.
