Scouts article made day

Thank you for the front page article highlighting Boy Scouts. How great a story and how very proud the entire troop, their leaders and families must be. Thank you. I congratulate them.

I can relate. My grandson, Joe Koffel, just reached and was awarded his Eagle Scout rating. The third son of Lt. Col. Jeffrey Koffel (retired) and Janine Koffel, Joe joins his older Eagle Scout brothers Jacob and John in this distinguished honor.

Scouting is an incredible organization that helps foster the kind of character in young men that helps to provide the skills and desire to do exactly what those young men did. As a long-term subscriber, it absolutely made my day.
