Stitch: No longer vote straight ticket

Stitch (Re: Bush 41 to vote for Hillary ):

“Went thru the same thing in 2008. Came from a Strong R back ground and had my mind set on John McCain. When he picked Sarah Palin as his running mate I was dumb struck. I still voted for them (albeit with a heavy heart) but made a commitment to expand my way of thinking.

“Over the next 4 years I saw a seriously divided GOP due in large part to the emergence of the Tea Party. The inside bickering, lack of respect for each other, and total unwillingness to compromise even with-in their own party made my 2012 pick for a 2nd term for Obama an easy one.

“I still tend to lean right on some issues left on others, but never again will I find myself feeling any sort of Commitment to any 1 way of thinking.

“Neither one of the running mates impress me to any degree, so it comes down to 1 simple question in my mind. Who do I think has the most experience, and is best qualified to represent this Country as President of The United States.”
