Lt. Stu Miller told Huckleberries this morning that the jail population from Spokane usually runs between 15% & 20%. Here’s the state-of-residence breakdown of the 412 inmates in the count jail this morning:

• Washington — 55.
• Transient (no state listed) — 11.
• Montana — 9.
• Texas, Pennsylvania, Oregon, New Jersey, Michigan, Illinois, Arizona — 1 each.
