Rumorama: To debate or not

A rumor is circulating on local social media that local Republican candidates are dodging on Oct. 7 debate at the Coeur d’Alene Library, to be sponsored by the League of Women Voters. I contacted a League of Women Voters official, who told me that the group was having trouble contacting Republican candidates. But that her organization had just heard from Idaho Sen. Mary Souza. “We’re still trying to put this together,” the LWV official told me. Additionally, I received an email from GOP candidate Paul Amador, who said he hadn’t been contacted for the prospective LWV debate. What we have hyar may be a failure to communicate. I’ll keep you posted.
