WSU’s leaders disappoint

What I fail to understand is why it took a multi-page expose by The Spokesman-Review covering violent acts by WSU student athletes to compel WSU President Kirk Schulz to comment.

Shouldn’t WSU’s leaders speak out quickly and strongly against violence without hesitation? Does it matter who started what and why? No. What matters is students were injured through violent acts. Higher education has no place for students acting in these ways against fellow students.

I’m very disappointed in WSU’s leaders and the violent students. Shameful acts to be sure.
