Hump Day Wild Card — 9.28.16

Last night, I was treated to the pitch by phone scammers trying to pass themselves off as IRS agents — you know, the clowns who say you’re in hot water for doing something wrong on your tax returns. Except the scammers over did it a bit. They left a half dozen messages warning of dire things if I didn’t call a certain number immediately. I wonder how someone who doesn’t know the ways of these bottom-feeding cheats would react to the threats. They seemed legit. I hope the ones on the other end of the phone get the justice they deserve for hurting so many people. Jerks. With that happy thought, I’ll play today’s Wild Card …
