5 reasons why …

My beagle Huckleberry would be a better legislative representative for Kootenai County than these legislators: Vito Barbieri, Eric Redman, Ron Mendive, Don Cheatham and Mary Souza (and possibly Steve Vick):

• She can’t be bullied by the Kootenai County GOTP Central Committee.
• She appreciates use of urban renewal dollars to build parks and other local amenities (esp. dog parks).
• She jumps when people come to the door — not when Idaho Freedom Foundation issues Freedom Index.
• She’s house trained. You don’t have to worry about her howling about anything that will embarrass non-GOTP constituents.
• She messes while walking her owner(s). But she has at least one aide one the other end of the leash to clean up the mess so others won’t step in it.
