Trump softens on immigration

In his campaign, Donald Trump vowed that if elected, he would deport all undocumented illegal immigrants in the United States. That vow had a majority of Americans in an outrage. However, despite his campaign rhetoric, it is beginning to appear that now President Trump only intends to deport criminal undocumented aliens.

Ann Coulter (writer and commentator) is saying that we need to deport them all because they’re taking all of our jobs, and if we don’t do something soon, it is going to attract more and more undocumented immigrants to the United States. President Trump is arguing that we should allow the undocumented immigrants to stay in America but we need to deport all the criminal undocumented aliens (ICE reports that there is 1.2 million criminal aliens at large in the U.S.).

He argues, that undocumented immigrants affect our economy for the better because they are allowing companies to work faster and gain more clients by working the jobs that Americans will never want to work and doing this for less money. This issue has been addressed repeatedly, and with President Trump now attempting to strengthen the borders, this issue has gotten bigger.
