Redux: When Cliff faced Hilde

From the files of Huckleberries Online (April 13, 1992):

Post Falls Police Chief Cliff Hayes should demand equal time at the greyhound track, now that he’s challenging former lawmaker Hilde Kellogg in May’s GOP primary. Track officials honored Hilde for her legislative support a few years back by naming their starter rabbit after her. The announcer starts each race by saying, “Here comes Hilde.” The rabbit has never lost a race, which is more than we can say for her namesake.

DFO: Hilde Kellogg, who served 4 terms in the House, won the GOP showdown with Hayes and went on to reclaim an Idaho House seat in the 1993 Legislature.
