Wild Card/Monday — 4.17.17

This evening, if you’re up for it, Washington Poet Laureate Tod Marshall, former UMontana poet Roger Dunsmore and I will read, among other things, poems by Tom Wobker, The Bard of Sherman Avenue, at The Well-Read Moose. The event, which begins at 6 p.m., is a celebration of National Poetry Month. You’re welcome to come. Also, you’re welcome to tell your Huckleberry Friends who you favorite poet is. My go-to poet is Billy Collins. But I’ve just discovered — and am thoroughly impressed with — the poetry of Larry Levis.
