Bring in Ormsby
I thank Greg Young of Colbert for his farsighted letter to the editor of March 24. The staff of Cathy McMorris Rodgers sent enough form letters neglecting to address my concerns, so I too have a strong desire to see her replaced with someone who will actually consider thoughts of constituents.
It would be nice to have a representative who places value on and attends town hall meetings; who listens to and considers problems of constituents; who actually evaluates alternatives; who believes those represented in Eastern Washington are people rather than nuisances; and who puts people ahead of party.
It would be nice if our representative realized Wikipedia shows Spokane County per capita income was $25,127 while King County was $38,211, 52 percent greater. We need a representative who will work to better that condition rather than- at least 50 times- contributing to waste of time and money trying to eliminate Obamacare without having or even wanting a better replacement.
I agree with Young’s intuitive selection of Michael Ormsby to run against and defeat McMorris Rodgers. I would even volunteer to drive the bandwagon if 96 wasn’t too old to drive. Go Michael!
