Dao should receive damages

Please explain your United Airlines headline in the April 12 paper, specifically the thrust of “after doctor with felony conviction had to give up seat.” What is the significance of the fact that this assault victim had previously been convicted of a crime? Are you suggesting that he deserved the brutal treatment he sustained from the pigs who dragged him down the aisle? I believe the doctor had previously been sufficiently punished for his misdeeds. I am disgusted by this so-called journalism.

The CEO of United should be personally liable for damages to Dr. Dao, the passenger. I think an appropriate damage award should be in the neighborhood of $10 million. Unfortunately, that is not the way it works. Instead, passengers will foot that bill with increased fares.

Furthermore, the disgusting thugs who carried out this brutality should be charged and prosecuted for assault (after being terminated) and never be employed in security or law enforcement again.

As for the VA security officer who carried out a similarly despicable act against Danny Ralph, he should also be terminated, prosecuted and punished.

What is happening to this country?
