Scraping away

Workers from Cannon Hill were busy leveling another of the 4 remaining houses on a wedge of urban renewal agency land that stretches north from Coeur d’Alene Skate Park to River Avenue. At one time there were 10 or 11 homes on the wedge, fronting Park Drive. They were purchased by the urban renewal agency for future use or sale. 3 workers on the scene told me that they are now tearing down the remaining four houses. It will be a very nice piece of property when all the old houses are leveled.
