Malek, Amador, Souza set townhall
With the 2017 Idaho legislative session now completed, District 4 State Representatives Paul Amador (R), Luke Malek (R), and State Senator Mary Souza (R) will host a Town Hall Forum with constituents in Coeur d’Alene. The meeting will take place Monday, May 1 st from 5:30-7:30 pm at North Idaho College, Student Union Building, Lake Coeur d’Alene Room.
This session saw a continued commitment and investment in our educational system as well as a focus on improving the economy of Idaho by encouraging the development of high paying jobs,” said Representative Amador.
The legislators will provide a recap of the 2017 session, discussing bills that passed this year, as well as those that failed to gain traction. Constituents are also encouraged to bring ideas for potential legislative priorities for the next legislative session in 2018.
“I’m excited about the progress that the legislature made on transportation funding and the continued commitment to education this session,” Said Malek. “We have to keep conversations going through the next few months on issues like health care costs and liquor license reform so that they are addressed early in the next session.”
Constituents unable to attend are encouraged to contact their lawmakers by email at www.legislature.idaho.gov.
