PFPD gets its man, goat

A Post Falls man wanted on felony warrants allegedly held a knife to his throat before police used a stun gun to detain him after a foot pursuit in Post Falls on Thursday.

Brandon F. Ross, 29, was detained in a pasture along 16th Avenue across from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints around 12:15 p.m. following a half-hour foot chase that began on 12th Avenue.

Ross, who was wanted on a $50,000 warrant for failure to appear for grand theft of a financial transaction card and a combined $50,000 warrant for possession of a controlled substance and drug possession with intent to deliver, was transported to Kootenai Health for evaluation after complaining of side pain/ Brian Walker , Coeur d’Alene Press.
