Cares more for party

Regarding Rick Gallinger’s April 22 letter, Cathy McMorris Rodgers has no compunctions about blocking constituents who disagree with her on Facebook. She blocked me more than four years ago.

Regarding Arlene Stromberger’s April 23 letter, Fox News and the GOP created the “Clinton scandals” out of whole cloth. Whenever has the U.S. ever seen such a whining, lying president?

Did you know only two of the top 100 U.S. newspapers endorsed Donald Trump? Nearly all endorsed Hillary Clinton because, as some said, she was the most qualified candidate in U.S. history thanks to her experience in government. Fact-checkers proved that Trump lies incredibly more than Clinton!

I never thought I’d see the day when Republicans cared more for their party than for their nation. I miss the honor and patriotism we used to see from people like John McCain and Lindsey Graham. It seems to me they tossed that out to support a president who wants to destroy our federal government and has said so. (It’s that whole getting rid of the administrative state thing.)

Americans will continue to get out and march to show America there is a better way. Science. Truth. Free Press. Patriotism. And no Russians in the White House, please.
