Has to be mail solution

In response to “Officials seek solutions to mail stoppage” (July 27):

With the abundance of our laws, I have to believe there is one that makes it a crime to threaten a federal employee. If there is such a law, Mr. Huston should have been arrested, spent time in jail and paid a healthy penalty. I’ll bet he would think twice before he threatened another federal employee. Problem solved!

If the above is correct and three U.S. legislators, local politicians, the local postmaster, two USPS investigators and the customer relations coordinator could not arrive at a solution other than punishing Mr. Huston’s neighbors, our country is really in trouble.
