Poll: Tourists/visitors welcome

• Monday Poll: Hucks Nation appreciates the economic and cultural impact of tourism in the Coeur d’Alene area. 91 of 331 respondents (27.49%) realize that tourists help our economy. 82 (24.77%) welcome tourists in their money but want them to leave without buying property. 71 (21.45%) said they enjoy people who appreciate the beauty of our area. 48 (14.5%) consider tourists to be a nuisance. 37 (21.45%) view them suspiciously as future residents who will add to the crowding. And 2 (0.6%) were undecided.
