New details about hit-and-run
Black Caliber struck and injured a pedestrian before leaving scene.
New information obtained Tuesday evening by the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office could help identify the black Dodge Caliber that left the scene of a crash Monday on Prairie Avenue.
The vehicle, which witnesses say struck and injured a bicyclist, is described as having a windshield banner with “Los Angeles” in black and white letters across the upper portion of the windshield.
Ray R. Schilke, the 63-year-old bicyclist, was transported by medical personnel to Kootenai Health where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries and released, according to the Sheriff’s Office/ Coeur d’Alene Press . More here.
